Cornering the market for peace.

International Peace Operations Association (IPOA) is the private military contractors' trade association Blackwater is a member of. And here's an article on IPOA's founder and president Doug Brooks:

(Mother Jones) Meet Doug Brooks, whose trade group represents the private military industry's biggest players. He makes hired guns sound like U.N. peacekeepers. [...] (source)

And this from their website:
Why Join IPOA? IPOA offers invaluable benefits for its members through client base expansion, representation, education, communications, and standards. As the world's only peace operations advocacy organization (italics mine) IPOA members are recognized for adhering to the association's Code of Conduct giving members a competitive edge for domestic and international contracts. IPOA also works extensively with the media to ensure the private sector is accurately and fairly represented in regard to peace and stability operations, and with key legislators and regulators on issues impacting the industry. As information is of great importance in the peace and stability industry, IPOA works hard to keep its members informed of
industry developments, including breaking news, legislative and regulatory proceedings, and potential contracts.
