Donate as little as $1 to the Liberator cause.

4/9: Thanks to our latest donor, Olukemi Kamson [first time donor]!

Close your eyes for a second and imagine this: Over 15,000 people worldwide read The Liberator each issue. Our current printing costs each issue (every other month) run us a little more than $2,000. If we could have 20 Liberator supporters donating $100; or 40 Liberator supporters donating $50; or 100 Liberator supporters donating $20; or 200 Liberator supporters donating $10... every 2 months, we could cover nearly one hundred percent of our printing costs entirely through the independent support of our community!

If you are able, please contribute to the self-sufficiency of The Liberator.

As you know, The Liberator Magazine is a collective labor of love. I'm confident I can speak for all of those who contribute to The Liberator and those who support it by subscribing, reading and engaging it, that it is something we hold close to our hearts.

In that spirit, we ask you to embrace it as it continues to grow both in reach and relevance. In a matter of years we've gone from a magazine representing a single locale to having staff members, readers and writers around the world. For example, in our last three issues, we've been closely following the diary of one of our veteran contributors, who recently traveled to Sudan to make sense of the political, social and historical complexities that are continuing to occur -- as we speak.

And yet...

We recognize that it is a work in progress, one that began long before us and one that will continue after us. For this reason, we are reaching out to you to help support this effort that we have committed ourselves to.

We won't draw this out like church appeals, but we are asking that you give what you can, as soon as you can. It can be as little as a single dollar. You can give one time or however often as you can!

And where will your funds be going? Strictly toward the printing of more magazines. Ultimately, your support will be going towards the establishment of a free and independent intellectual space, where ideas can be continued to be discussed, debated and critiqued. It is our goal that these ideas and dreams may actually be realized and manifested in the same manner as the ideas, dreams and actions of our ancestors.
