American Hardcore (2006) [film]

Good flick. Of note: how the hardcore movement was grounded (counterbalanced?) by a Ronald Regan new world order reality keeping it away from the wild can-do hippie spirituality of the 60s; how Regan's reelection in '84 crushed so many folks and splintered the Punk "community"; how "guilty of being white" was apparently a song about a white kid growing up in DC appealing to the black majority to accept him and not judge him based on race and how the song got "misinterpreted" by neo-nazis in Germany and turned into a white nationalist anthem; towards the end how the OG hardcore cats got tired of the violence; how Bad Brains turned Rasta -- their spiritual dilemma with Hardcore Punk thereafter and how folks hated on them.
