The story of a man tortured at Guantanmo Bay.

An excerpt from "Outlawed", a film produced by Witness, in partnership with other human rights groups. In case you didn't hear, even in light of Obama's pledge to close Guantanamo, one released detainee has now become the head of Al Qaeda in Yemen. Talk about creating terrorists. I thought that movie Babel did a decent job of illustrating that process.

This short video introduces us to Binyam Ahmed Mohamed, an Ethiopian man in his thirties who survived extraordinary rendition, secret detention, and torture by the U.S. government working with various other governments worldwide. He also endured sexual abuse and violence. What's crazy is that Mr. Mohamed is still being held at Guantanamo Bay.
