On Obama's "emeny combatant" policy, + Bush's

Former constitutional law and civil rights lawyer, Glenn Greenwald has a good outline on how and why Obama's "enemy combatant" rhetoric is starting to sound alot like Bush's. Greenwald takes a pretty balanced approach. In other words, he gives Obama credit for several rollbacks of Bush administration polices, but he also points out how, in several instances, what Obama has done is simply change language, while quietly retaining the questionable/borderline-unconstitutional executive privileges that Bush carved out while he was in office. People don't give back power easily -- especially U.S. Presidents. (link)
