Today we feature pictures by Ayesha Walker at the Oscar Grant birthday celebration held in Oakland recently, organized by Fred Hampton Jr. and the P.O.C.C. (Prisoners Of Conscience Committee).





1) The Minister of Information JR was djing off of a laptop, while DJ Leydis and Rachael from the POCC was enjoying themselves, at The Community Birthday Party for Oscar Grant III, which was held at the Black Dot in West Oakland.

2) Rapper Adimu, painter and sculptor Eesuu, and owner of the Black Dot Cafe Marcel Diallo played 'bones' at the POCC and Black Dot organized Community Birthday Party for Oscar Grant III fundraiser, last Friday at the Black Dot in West Oakland.

3) These two sistas danced the night away, as they hung out at this Community Birthday Party fundraiser on Oscar Grant's birthday.

4) The Community Birthday Party for Oscar Grant III was held, on his birthday Feb. 27, at the Black Dot Cafe in the Lower Bottoms neighborhood of West Oakland.
