Questlove: On working for NBC, and Jimmy Fallon

Meet Questlove, employee #509632 of NBC-Universal. Brings back memories of Saul Williams (link1 | link2) and his Nike gig. Of course the American Apparel generation (link) might not care anymore, but I see it for what it is -- another rebellious talent that has been slowly lured and assimilated by corporate media over time. Hip Hop ain't dying anytime soon (it makes too much money for that to happen), but it is definitely being adopted by savvy new capitalist parents.
