I've learned a bit from Cornel West. And been presented with some valuable information from Tavis Smiley in my lifetime. I even have a distant love for both men. I just pray that black America never is so limited in our options that we think we have to choose between Barack Obama and the Tavis Smiley/Cornel West/Michael Eric Dyson crew. It's one thing to love fried chicken. It's an entirely different situation when you have to eat it for dinner every... single... day.
