I just had a few announcements about people that I know who are doing stuff.

1. My friend, Jessica Dukes, is in this play called "Eclipsed" which is about Liberia during the civil war. Folks might want to see it ... here's the (link).

2. Another friend, Nafeesah Shabazz, is a painter and photographer who does great work and has an awesome spirit. Here is her (website).

3. I know tons of up and coming artists as well:
Qui-Juan Jones can sing (link), and so can his artist VickyE (link).

4. I know this dude that is a great emcee:
Listen to Aquil (here) and (here). [Liberator Associate Editor] Stephanie is actually on a few of his songs. "For the People" and "Go Far" are great! "Architect Technician" and "1929" are cool, too.

5. I know some great bloggers, too: Check out the Rent, Food, Music (Blog) and The Anti-Pop (Blog).

Enjoy!
