Women In Hats [film]

A stunning story about the introduction of praise dancing into a conservative black church in America, Brandi Brown's Masters thesis project "Women In Hats" is a colorful and soulful work of art. Brandi has also teamed with us to eventually produce the winner of our Liberators Of Film screening writing contest, "Training Wheels".

She could use your vote now in her Masters thesis competition. To view the film and vote visit the Chapman Film School website at film.chapman.edu/cecils and create a username and password to login. Then go to View & Rate Films and click on "Women In Hats" to watch and vote.

The visuals are fantastic and the story fills a whole in the African-American spiritual and cultural narrative on film. Runtime is about 30 minutes long.
