Tropicana not raw fruit....</title><content type='html'>Might be a little fruity. Tropicana not raw fruit. But seriously, his acknowledgment of his lineage would be crucial.  Imagine talkin to somebody who isn't to big on African identity. They might say, "Africans are ugly. I couldn't mess wit no African." Then you hit em with a "Well, you think J. Holiday is cute." Or the dude from the Wire or I heard Ne-Yo is Nigerian.  I think simple joints like that make people question images and self-identity.
